Before transitioning into wealth management, Jim Beindorf spent the first decade of his career as a Certified Public
Accountant (CPA), specializing in tax strategy, business valuation, and forensic accounting for high-net-worth individuals and
small business owners. His work in these areas earned him national recognition, including the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (AICPA) Standing Ovation Award in 2019 for excellence in forensic and valuation services.
In
2020, Jim joined The Leyda Group at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor, where he was part of the team recognized as a
Forbes 2023 Best-In-State Wealth Management Team. His time there broadened his approach to financial advising and ultimately
led him to SpirePoint Private Client, where he continues to combine technical precision with a deep commitment to helping
clients navigate complex financial decisions.
Jim holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Millsaps College and a
Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University. His analytical mindset, attention to detail, and background in
investigative accounting play a central role in his work at SpirePoint.
Deeply rooted in the Vero Beach community,
Jim is dedicated to service and volunteer work. He has spent six years as Treasurer for Indian River County Habitat for
Humanity and currently serves as Board Chair for Childcare Resources of Indian River County. He actively volunteers at local
Habitat for Humanity build sites and contributes his time to St. Helen’s Church, particularly its annual Harvest Festival. Jim
is committed to strengthening the local community and supporting causes focused on housing, education, and family
well-being.
A proud Vero Beach native, Jim still resides here with his wife Allison, who is also a CPA, and
their three children: two daughters and a son. He considers himself fortunate to live near loved ones who keep them grounded
in their Cuban and Floridian roots. Jim values time spent outdoors with his family, whether he's golfing or fishing, and can
frequently be seen rooting for the Auburn Tigers.
