Robert Scarborough

Rob Scarborough began his career in financial services in 1999 as an intern with Merrill Lynch. Over the next 16 years, he advanced from a Client Service Associate to a Financial Advisor, before transitioning to Morgan Stanley in 2015, where he stayed for the next decade. Rob continued to develop his practice with a focus on personalized financial strategies built around each client’s goals.

At the heart of Rob’s work is a belief in doing what’s right for each client. He brings a thoughtful, grounded approach to advising, shaped by years of listening carefully to what matters most to the individuals and families he serves. He is motivated by the trust he establishes with clients, getting to know them to positively contribute to their lives. 

Originally from Brandon, Vermont, Rob earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, baking, strength training, and attending live performances. You might even see him onstage, as he has appeared for many years as a supernumerary in productions with the Palm Beach Opera. 

Rob is a longtime board member and current Vice President of the Palm Beach Island Cats, a nonprofit dedicated to the care of feral cats on Palm Beach Island. He, alongside fellow SpirePoint team members Amani, Jamie, and Kim, enjoys partaking in Chef for a Day– a charitable program through the Quantum House where volunteers cook meals for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition.
